Are you looking to develop your Occupational Therapy skills in community rehabilitation. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work as part of a multi-disciplinary teams delivering client centered evidence based care.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Barnet Intermediate Care Service a based at Edgware Community Hospital. You will have a role developing your Occupational Therapy practice and deliver evidence based rehabilitation for clients in their own homes, residential and care homes, community facilities, and community hospitals. And will need you to build and maintain key relationships with referrers to the services across CLCH including the community Falls Prevention Service, Stroke and Rehabilitation Units, Parkinson’s Unit, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Diseases team, Learning Disabilities, Falls Services, Early Stroke Discharge Team, Wheelchair services and Musculoskeletal Outpatient services. This post will be responsible for the supervision of junior staff, rehabilitation assistants and students, participate in any audit or development being undertaken by the service.
CLCH offers a variety of training opportunities to clinical staff and is committed in supporting continuous professional development of their workforce and offer regular in-services and CPD opportunities. The post is supported by Highly Specialist Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists, a Team lead for each rotation, and the Operational Manager for Barnet Intermediate Care Service or Inpatient Rehabilitation.
