St Barnabas House provides specialist palliative care to adults in the Worthing, Adur, Arun and Henfield areas through a range of services, including In-patient care, Day Hospice and Community care.

We currently have the following vacancy:

Registered Nurse – Community Palliative Care Team

30 hours per week

Salary: £23,336 - £26,960 pa (FTE £29,170 - £33,700) (depending on depth and variety of experience in a similar role)

Location: St Barnabas House, Goring by Sea

We are looking for a Registered Nurse to work within our Community Palliative Care Team in support of our Clinical Nurse Specialist.

You will work to support a team of specialist nurses, visiting patients in their own homes and undertaking follow up assessments on the telephone or face to face, to provide high quality care that meets the physical and emotional needs of patients and their families and carers.

There may also be the opportunity to progress to a CNS development role after 12 months in post.

Requirements for the role:

A full clean license and access to a car are essential for this role.

Experience of working in the community would be desirable
