Appoint Group Vacancy Job Title: Outpatients Minor Ops Team LeaderLocation: HampshireSalary: £28,000 - £33,000Contract: PermanentShifts: FlexibleServices: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate Team Leader to join a leading Private Hospital in Southampton in the Minor Operations Outpatients Suite. A full range of specialist services are available in a modern and attractive hospital facility including General Surgery, Cosmetics, Ophthalmology & Orthopaedics.The is a new position and we see it as an exciting opportunity for someone to run and manage the suite whilst growing the services it offers. In addition to this, the candidate will surgically assist the Consultants with minor operations in the new suite.The successful candidate will be a Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin. Previous experience as a team leader or manager is desirable but not essential as training is on offer. This would be a great opportunity for someone who has previous experience of assisting with dermatology procedures and other minor operations treatments, which may include urology, gynaecology and cosmetic treatments. In addition to working in the minor operations suite, the position will assist in the outpatient's department within the nursing team.This is a great development opportunity for someone who is a passionate and competent nurse who wishes to become a specialist nurse and oversee the minor operations suite.The position is full time (37.5 hours per week) and will work on a rota basis throughout the opening hours of the Outpatient department: Monday to Friday 07:30-21:00 and Saturday 08:00-14:00. The successful candidate will be expected to work two Saturdays in four.The successful candidates will form part of their expanding team, and will be expected to provide and maintain a high quality service.
