ICT Clinical Systems Training Team Leader - Northampton

Are you exactly the person we are looking for? Applications are welcome from enthusiastic, professional people who want to join our IT team in this role as ICT Clinical Systems Team Leader – leading the Clinical Systems Training Team.
The successful applicant will be responsible for further developing and leading a small team of product specialists and clinical systems trainers, who provide high quality application training, support and configuration for Trust clinical information IT systems. This is a key “hands on” role, which involves carrying out service management activities including incident and problem management, configuration management, change management and release management, in conjunction with end-users. Systems managed by the clinical teams will include our CAMIS PAS, Teleologic PCS and Electronic Discharges, Winscribe Voice recognition, Medway Maternity, EMIS A&E and Nexus Theatres systems amongst others and this will grow in our move towards implementing our “Best of Breed” IT strategy.
As an ICT Clinical Team Leader, you will be responsible to the Head of Clinical Systems and you and your team will work alongside our IT project management team, other clinical support teams, development team, technology team and informatics.
The ideal candidate must have excellent communication, leadership and practical skills and the ability to offer a flexible, responsible and positive approach to this challenging position. Previous IT system management experience and in depth knowledge of clinical IT systems is essential.
