Northampton General Hospital is the Lead provider for Stroke in Northamptonshire. The Stroke service is in the Outpatient, Elderly Medicine and Stroke Directorate within the Medicine and Emergency Care Division.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a pro-active, highly motivated individual to join our department. If you are someone who is looking for a challenge, then this role could be for you.
Reporting to the Directorate Manager you will have key responsibility for providing a high quality service and the operational day to day running of key areas of these very busy and sometimes challenging environments, whilst implementing improvements in delivery of service, productivity and efficiency. You will take accountability for performance management, reporting and monitoring.
You will have line management of administrative staff and you will need to demonstrate your ability to manage a variety of situations such as complaints, staff management skills and time management skills. We are looking for someone with good analytical and excellent communication skills and most of all someone who can keep calm when under pressure.
This post is being advertised as a full-time (37.5 hours per week) permanent post.
