Senior SQL DBA opportunity to work in a dynamic role in either London or Edinburgh city centre. The company have a prodigious reputation within their industry and they treat their employee's exceptionally well. They have a relatively small IT team, so your opinion and voice will be highly valued when it comes to contributing ideas. You will be working with an extensive array of clients from various sectors across the UK and the work you will be doing is done remotely from their two UK offices. This role can be in either London city centre or Edinburgh.

This role is for an experienced DBA who has strong database administration skills as well as Microsoft SQL development tools. You will be working with the latest Microsoft technologies and some of the work will be focused on development using SSRS, SSIS and SSAS. You will get the opportunity to work on multiple challenging projects and will ideally have Microsoft certifications. The DBA's already in the team are some of the most knowledgeable across the country, so the opportunity to learn and develop your existing skillset is certainly there.

The role is a mix of both BAU support and Project work. It is important for this person to either have MCSE certifications or to gain them in their first six months of joining (put through by the company).

The key technical experience that they are looking for is:

** Microsoft SQL Database Administration (SQL Server 2012/2014/2016)

** Experience of Replication and Clustering is required

** Backup/Recovery, High Availability, Disaster Recovery, Mirroring, Always-On, Tuning experience, BAU

** SQL Server SSIS (Integration Services)

** SQL Server SSRS (Reporting Services)

** MCSE certified professionals (very desirable)

This is a unique opportunity for a DBA to advance and develop their career whilst being continually supported in a positive environment.
