Roc Search is urgently seeking 3 x Network Engineers to work for our NHS client located in Central London. Start is immediate. £300-350 per day dependant on experience. (Outside IR35)







**NHS industry experience is preferred.







To work with the Network and Telephony Team with a view to assisting with the day-to-day operational work and project work as required. Establish and maintain network performance by building net configurations and connections; troubleshooting network problems, keep up to date on all aspects of a project and BAU and assists others as required.

  • 3rd Line Infrastructure Support Engineer will diagnose customer service problems and log fault tickets with suppliers as required by the Network and Telephony Manager
  • Experience working in a 3rd line technical support role, either in IT/Telecoms or for an ISP
  • Troubleshooting problems for first time resolution of issues
  • Manage ADSL orders and faults
  • Provide support via email and phone to partners and end customers
  • Keep accurate records on Service Management and CRM Systems
  • Establishes networking environment by designing system configuration; directing system installation; defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards.
  • Maximises network performance by monitoring performance; troubleshooting network problems and outages; scheduling upgrades; collaborating with network architects on network optimisation.
  • Secures network system by establishing and enforcing policies; defining and monitoring access.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organisations.
  • Accomplishes information systems and organisation mission by completing related results as needed.
  • Reporting network operational status by gathering, prioritising information; managing projects.
  • Technical Support Engineer with knowledge of Data Networks and Voice Over IP (VoIP)




Skills





    • Thorough and extensive Switch, Firewall and Router configurations and installs, Wireless solution deployments.


    • Experience of Cisco Wireless technologies, WiSM1/2, Cisco Access Points
    • Solid understanding of Cisco Internetworks, routing and switching and related protocols, LAN/WAN. Security, Firewalls, load balancers and wireless required
    • At a minimum a CCNP qualified or above candidate is required
    • Experience with monitoring tools such as PRTG, Cisco Prime, Cisco ISE, TrustSec
    • Experience of trustsec, including design and integration
    • Experience in network security including: Device Hardening, IDS/IPS, SIEM, Firewalls, and IPSec, vulnerability assessment and intrusion detection (preferably; FireEye)
    • Experience in network protocol analysers/sniffers.
    • Understanding of QoS configurations and implementation
