Social Media Manager
Are you a proactive and positive Social Media Executive with proven track record in developing social media capabilities for large and complex organizations? We are currently looking for a Social Media Manager to join our client on a permanent contract. Your main responsibilities will include supporting the existing social media presence of the company, as well as developing it through their channels and campaigns across the different platforms. You will be working closely with the Strategic Communications Team in the UK to help them develop and implement their social media strategy by providing content and community management support.Key Accountabilities: • Working on the creation, editing and posting of topical content on the company’s platforms;• Developing and maintaining content calendars for the company’s channels, and proactively sharing across teams;• Monitoring the activity and inquiries on the company-owned social media communities;• Engaging with the online community, answering questions related to the company and its areas of focus;• Enforcing standard protocols;• Using and maintaining content management tools;• Leading regular editorial meetings, presenting concepts;• Supporting live coverage of conferences and other various events;Essential skills and experience : • Educated to a BSc degree in either Molecular Biology or Biological Science;• Minimum 2 years of experience in a digital/ social media- focused role (with agency or in-house) ;• Ideally with experience in pharmaceutical or other regulated industry;• Clear understanding of the role of social/digital media within the marketing/communications mix;• A proven record of developing and growing a social media function;• Strong project management skills;• Experience in working with stakeholders, both senior level and cross-functionally;• Experience in building awareness and engagement through the management of comprehensive franchise-level social media campaigns and activities;• Experience in delivering digital projects, and management of CMS;• Experience in planning and executing various activities on major social platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn);• Possessing excellent writing and communications skills;• Experience in developing and running training on digital and social media for various audiences;• Experience in social media software platforms management ( Sysomos, Brandwatch, etc.)• Development of relevant and appropriate social media content with the communications and marketing team, in collaboration with external agencies.• Experience in identifying new opportunities, seeking input from stakeholders, and implementing the ideas.To find out more, please contact me on firstname.lastname@example.org.
