During this exciting time of growth for the business, our Business Development Team are looking to expand their team to help drive forward our commercial activities. The team are looking to recruit a new Business Development Team Assistant. The role can be located at either our Chorley head office or from home anywhere across the UK. Package descriptionAttractive bonus and benefits package Main responsibilitiesThe Business Development Team Assistant is responsible for effective and efficient administrative support to members of Global Business Development team. They will support the team by performing a variety of organisational, administrative and analytical activities, as well as take a leading role on team communications. Responsibilities include: System Administrator of Salesforce; Supporting EU Business Development team with maintenance of EU sales pipeline data in Salesforce for reporting purposes; Supporting the global Business Development team with updating and maintaining accounts and contacts data in Salesforce; Assisting the Senior Commercial Manager with sales reporting requests; Managing conference related admin duties; Liaising with global Business Development to create specific email blast distribution lists in Salesforce; Organising targeted mail blasts via Salesforce working closely with the Marketing team for input; Entering new business cards into the system picked up from conferences; Liaising with the US Business Development Team Assistant and Marketing team to organise Global Business Development attendance at agreed conferences and events; Arranging all travel requirements including flights, train travel, taxis, hotel’s for EU Business Development team members; Producing creative PowerPoint presentations with guidance from Business Development team members. Supporting the Marketing team in administration and operational activities, including organisation of major meetings; preparation of agendas, follow up on action items etc.; Support Marketing team in organising Synexus sponsorship and delegate attendance at agreed conferences Managing Finance processes including creation of Purchase Orders and invoice payments Co-ordination / preparation / gathering of information requests and data Managing Marketing and Business Development content on our global intranet pages Manage assigned ad hoc projects under guidance Preparation / support for Business Development presentations Ideal candidateTo be successful in the role you will need: Minimum 2 years’ experience working with Salesforce CRM platform Fluent spoken and written English language Educated to degree level Deliver high standards of customer service and provide support to the team by efficiently and proactively responding to issues Previous experience in dealing with a variety of stakeholders at different seniority levels Ability to work under pressure, prioritise a busy workload and to multitask – with excellent attention to detail Efficient organisational, administrative skills and time-management skills; able to prioritise and manage workload Accurate typing, spelling and numeracy Ability to look ahead, plan work and act on own initiative; as well as being a team player with a flexible and willing approach Good communication skills, ability to interact with people at all levels (oral & written) Excellent Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel skills Reliable, flexible and loyal attitude Experience working in a confidential environment and with sensitive information About the companySynexus is the world’s largest site network, with more than 195 sites and 1,500 employees.
