An experienced Clinical Negligence Lawyer sought for a well-regarded and legal 500 ranking firm to take on an interesting caseload in Colchester.

Established over 100 years ago, our client is a multi-office Legal 500 practice in Essex, who delivers services to businesses and individuals in areas including family, dispute resolution, employment and residential property. Staffed by a team of experienced and dedicated lawyers, many who are specialists in their field, they have gained numerous accreditations including Lexcel. With client care at the heart of their practice they endeavour to provide advice which is both practical and professional in an efficient and cost-effective manner. Actively involved in their local communities they have a growing and loyal client base. They are now seeking a Clinical Negligence Lawyer in Colchester.

The Role
A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Clinical Negligence Lawyer to join our client’s busy department in Colchester, Essex. Possessing a minimum of five years PQE, applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors or Legal Executives who are comfortable building and maintaining an existing caseload on a full-time basis. You will also be comfortable working well within a team and under minimum supervision. Ideally, you will have a good understanding of the compensation claims, demonstrating in-depth technical knowledge of the CPR processes. The successful Clinical Negligence Lawyer will be IT literate, communicating in a clear and concise manner. Candidates who have attained the Law Society’s Clinical Negligence accreditation or the avma accreditation would be highly advantageous.

The Candidate
Applications are encouraged from qualified Solicitors or Legal Executives with a minimum of five years PQE;
Solid background handling Clinical Negligence matters is essential;
Law Society’s Clinical Negligence / the avma accreditation would be advantageous;
Possess the ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner at all times;
IT literate and comfortable with various case management systems;
Able to handle a diverse caseload to meet key deadlines;
Aptitude for business development and a willingness to become involved in marketing initiatives would be beneficial;
Possess first class client skills;
Access to own transport would be a prerequisite.
