Health Economics Manager, Hertfordshire A Health Economics Manager is urgently required by a global pharmaceutical company, to join their expanding Health Economics team. By joining the team you will be focusing on their growing Cardiovascular and Metabolic franchise.As a Health Economics Manager, you will be leading in the development and submissions of the HTA’s required for the new products within the Cardiovascular and Metabolic franchise. This will include leading the development of all the necessary health economics models. Key Responsibilities: * You will work at a National (UK & Ireland) level in conjunction with the global HEOR function in order to develop all the necessary cost-utility analysis models and other payer materials for HTA submissions. You will be responsible for developing and adapting the HTA’s for the company’s CV and Metabolic franchise. * You will be responsible for developing the cost-effectiveness and budget impact models for the Cardiovascular and Metabolic franchises submissions. * You will work closely with the various payers in the UK (NICE, SMC, and AWMSG) in order to ensure that the HTA submission you lead are successful. * As a Health Economic Manager, you will provide guidance and support to more junior members within the team, this may involve supporting them with developing various health economic models. * As the lead Health Economics Manager for the Cardiovascular and Metabolic franchise, you will work with field colleagues to ensure they are aware of the Health Economics of new product launches.About you: * At least 3 years’ experience developing health economic materials for Health Technology Assessments, this should be either within a HEOR agency or in the pharmaceutical industry. * Experience using Microsoft Excel in order to develop health economic models. * A good working knowledge of Microsoft VBA * Demonstrate an ability to work collaboratively and able to personally deliver to agreed timeframes. * A good ability to prioritise work effectively in accordance to the company’s need. * Previous experience in training people with a non-health economic background in the effect delivery of HE outputs.
