Technical Project Manager ( RAID / IT / Retail ), Up to £45,000, South West Birmingham

Technical Project Manager ( RAID / IT / Retail ) sought for a leading Retail organisation based in South West Birmingham. This is an incredibly successful organisation with an unrivalled reputation in their field. The Technical Project Manager ( RAID / IT / Retail ) is required to join this company's busy and expanding team, working closely with Project and Programme managers to focus on project delivery to schedule. The ideal candidate will comfortably project manage multiple, simultaneous projects and work on the management of interfaces, dependencies and links between systems and work streams.

As a Technical Project Manager ( RAID / IT / Retail ) there is requirement for some occasional fully expensed travel with work as part of the project responsibilities. You will be a confident Technical Project Manager ( RAID / IT / Retail ) with an ability to work without being micro-managed.

Up to £45,000 + free parking, pension, life insurance + many other benefits

  • Experience of requirements gathering in a project setting
  • Identifying issues and resolutions
  • Being proactive in achieving results, confidently chasing external stakeholders and resolving issues
  • Able to cope with tight deadlines and changing priorities, under pressure
  • Must be proactive, fast paced and eager to learn
  • Experience of working in high pressure fast paced environments
  • Experience of managing project budgets
  • Prior experience of project progress reporting
    Experience of project communications, and messages to different audiences
    Working with technical team to project manage the design, build and implementation of a Target Operating Model for the IT business function

Desirable skills for the Technical Project Manager ( RAID / IT / Retail ):
  • Educated to degree level
  • Strong communication skills - confident with a 'get up and go' attitude
  • Related PMO / Projects qualifications
  • Technically astute, awareness of technology, particularly around Infrastructure (servers, networking etc)
