Project Manager - ERP / Software / PRINCE 2 - Bucks / Beds

Project Manager - ERP / Software Projects / PRINCE 2 Practitioner is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. Responsible for interaction with local strategic or operational teams, corporate IT, client IT and elected members when required.

Work with all levels of local contract and client staff to help determine and deliver future IT strategy and to assist in the definition of system or procedural requirements. Fully support and cooperate with the company IT services where required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Lead the planning and implementation of designated project(s)

* Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables

* Define project tasks and resource requirements

* Develop full scale project plans

* Assemble and coordinate project staff

* Manage project budget

* Manage project resource allocation

* Plan and schedule project timelines

* Track project deliverables using appropriate tools

* Provide direction and support to project team

* Ensure quality assurance

* Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders

* Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions

* Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs

* Carry out and report on project evaluations and assessment of results

Person Specification

Qualifications and Experience

* A level, HNC educated, or equivalent experience including GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths

* PRINCE2 Practitioner qualified

* Degree or demonstrable experience in ICT or business solutions.

* Experienced in presenting to all levels.

* Proven experience of project management with MS Dynamics, Salesforce, Oracle, SAP or JD Edwards.

* Proven experience of risk and change management

* Proven excellent written communication skills

* Knowledge of ICT industry developments

* Required to be mobile and therefore a FULL, CLEAN driving licence and use of car if not provided

* Ability to prioritise own work to support business priorities

* Ability to work autonomously and manage conflicting priorities
