Software Developer - Nottingham

Due to our continued growth we are seeking a Software Developer to work in our Simulation Technology Software Development team. You will be a talented individual with strong problem-solving skills and a desire for creating and delivering sophisticated software.
You will be developing our world leading applications for blue-chip automotive, electric-vehicle and renewable energy companies.

We are embarking on a project to develop the next generation solutions so need someone who is interested in designing and developing software architecture and is good at solving complex problems. Some of the programming challenges are: large heterogeneous object models, multi-language, multi-process systems.

Job requirements and qualifications


  • Degree qualified in computer science or scientific/engineering post-graduate degree
  • Strong software engineering knowledge
  • Strong all round coding and test skills

You should have skills in one or more of the following:
  • C#
  • Python
  • C++
  • Java
  • Smalltalk

  • Development life-cycle in a scientific/technical area
  • Windows or Linux
  • SQL Database or Mongodb application programming
  • Graphics or OpenGL development (CAD or similar)
  • AWS, Azure or similar PaaS
  • Container
  • Gitlab or similar distributed-version-control
  • Agile methodology, preferably SCRUM and TDD
