We are seeking professional and experienced Complex Home Care Assistants to deliver the highest quality of care to a gentleman in his own home living with complex healthcare needs in the Bridgewater area. Due to the nature of the healthcare requirements of our client it is desired that you have previous experience in caring for those with learning disabilities and mental health conditons. You will be a permanent member of the team and will receive full support from our Taunton Home Care Team. This role will be working weekdays 9am till 6pm with an hour break, supporting our service user with all aspects of his life.Upon joining, you'll receive a full in-house induction as well as an introduction to the client you will be supporting their needs and care plan. You'll receive any training necessary to top up your skills, including a shadow shift if required.The Caring Role: You will form an integral part of the Newcross Care at Home team in this varied and rewarding role, delivering person-centred care in accordance with personalised care plans that enrich lives. You will be responsible for assisting with key health provision functions, including administering medication, pain relief and various domestic and healthcare tasks to assist the individuals you encounter with day to day living.It is essential that you are dedicated to promoting the well-being and quality of life of each individual you care for. This means recognising the capabilities of each person, championing their needs and seeing them as more than a care plan.
