Newcross is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Paediatric Care Assistant with a passion for care to join us in Truro, Cambourne, Redruth and the surrouding areas as a member of our Complex Care Team. RoleWe are seeking a Paediatric Care Assistant to work alongside a trained nurse 6 hours a week on Wednesdays with the possibility of two weekly night shifts. We prefer individuals that have prior experience supporting clients with Epilepsy, PEG feeding, BIPAP, O2 and SATS Management would be an advantage, however we will provide any training required. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Care Assistant, with the drive to expand their knowledge base to deliver first class complex care to clients. It is essential that you are dedicated to promoting the well-being and quality of life of each individual you care for. This means recognising the capabilities of each person, championing their needs and seeing them as more than a care plan.Upon joining, you'll receive a full in-house induction as well as an introduction to the client you will be supporting, their needs and care plan. You'll receive any training necessary to top up your skills, including a shadow shift if required.
