I am thrilled to be recruiting for a truly wonderful local care provider who specialise in creating bespoke and tailored support for people with learning disabilities, who may be physically disabled and or have other associated conditions.
I have two fantastic part-time permanent 20hr contracts available. Work will be within both residential homes and community based settings in Hereford and Leominster. You will need to drive and have access to your own vehicle. You will ideally have some background within health and social care work, however, if you have the correct attitude, compassion and positivity and really feel you can make a difference please do apply.
You will be required to work a mixture of early, late and sleep-in shifts sometimes within a residential / supported living setting, and other times shifts involve visiting several homes within the community. You will be required to work every other weekend and you can expect a rota 6 weeks in advance. You will be required to deliver and or prompt with personal care, administer medication, support in daily tasks and accessing the community. You will receive excellent rates of pay £8.00 p/hr and £40 per sleep-in. If you are scheduled to work within the community travel time and mileage is also paid. You will have a comprehensive induction programme and ongoing training and development opportunities. There is plenty of opportunity for overtime if desired.
