Build on your oncology nursing knowledge by following an individually tailored shadowing programme working with research teams, clinical nurse specialists including palliative care and nurse practitioners. You will gain lots of expertise by working across a range of oncology services which includes a teenage and young adult service and:


general oncology
chemotherapy inpatient
chemotherapy day car
acute oncology
outpatient
palliative care


We work very closely with Macmillan Cancer Support and Maggie’s Centres. Our nurses benefit from access to free Macmillan study days and an annual grant from the charity which supports professional development within our teams.
