Job Ref: OJ 1689 Hampton's are currently recruiting for a permanent Residential Children's Home Manager to work for a private care company in the South Manchester area. This for is an EBD boys home.The company focusses on providing a clean, warm, safe, nurturing and empowering environment for young people to assist them into adulthood.They pride themselves on continuous staff training, good levels of communication between the care teams and good structure. Person Specification:Knowledge of OFSTED regulations, childcare legislations and children's homes regulations.Understanding of a variety of different therapeutic models.Experience dealing with EBD in Children.Strong leadership and management skills, including the ability to delegate effectively.An ability to effectively and confidently conduct employee relations issues such as; disciplinary, grievance, performance management, supervision, appraisals etc.An ability to work both under own initiative and as part of a management team and overall team whilst maintaining professional relationship boundaries with non-management staff.Be creative and able to use your own initiative and manage in challenging situations.Requirements:Relevant professional qualification (Diploma, NVQ or RMA) for Health & Social Care and Children and Young People's ServicesPrevious and relevant experience of working with young people with challenging behaviour, emotional/social issues and learning difficultiesExperience of managing a large residential home Salary - Up to £35k (dependent on experience)If you are Interested in this position or would like to have a confidential discussion to find out further details, please email your CV or call Oliver Jones on - 01926 354 601Hampton's Resourcing prides itself on creating opportunities for Social Care Senior Managers to challenge themselves to continually develop their skills and experience.
