My client who are a well established and busy practice have offices across the country with their head office situated to the East of the City (outside the city centre) are looking for an Office Manager to replace their existing Manager who is looking to retire.

My client deal with both high net worth individuals as well as small and medium enterprises.

This position entails managing a small team of administrators and ensuring that the established procedures for both new business submission and client reviews are followed and updated as required. As part of the management team you will help to shape the business as it moves forward.

They are a close knit and long serving group, you will need to be a hard worker with the right attitude to be considered for the role.

The firm currently consists of seven advisers, three senior administrators and one part time administrator as well as a full time Compliance and Training Manager.

Starting salary for this position is £35,000 + company pension

You will have the following key skills

You will manage staff and this will include recruitment and appraisals etc.

You must have previous experience of admin processes within an IFA practice

You will also act as a PA for the Managing Director and carry out the administration of all their new and existing business, you will also liaise with his clients and make appointments

You will have technical knowledge of products and procedures

You will carry out the administration of pensions including drawdown and FAD, investments including WRAPs, life insurance and mortgages

You will be articulate, have good communication and organisational skills

You will have the ability to work within an established team structure

You will ideally have experience of using Intelligent Office

You will also ideally have knowledge or previously used Transact which is my clients Wrap of choice, they also use Aviva and Old Mutual, amongst others
