Pertemps are looking for a full time Accounts Assistant, to join our Client working in a small team at a manufacturing company based in Calne.

The accounts assistant will keep financial records, prepare reports, and update financial information. The accounts assistant must be familiar with accounting procedures and should have experience with Sage 50 Accounts. The ideal candidate will be able to process business transactions, handle accounts payable and receivable, expense reports, receipts, and other financial matters.

Key responsibilities:

- Managing petty cash

- Working with sales / purchase ledger

- Checking pricing on Sales orders and processing invoices for daily upload

- Processing Credit notes

- Issuing monthly statements to send to customers

- Credit control

- Managing the department`s post

- Cash Receipts and allocating payments

- Reconciliation of bank accounts

- Following and using Accounts systems

- Input of timesheets

- Banking

- Matching delivery notes to invoices

- Weekly debtors and creditors reports

- Assisting with month end reports

- Assisting with Stock Takes

- Assisting with Payroll and distribution of payslips

- Providing administrative support to the team

- Working closely with individuals across the business at all levels

Qualifications and Skills

The Ideal candidate:

Will be enthusiastic, committed and a fast learner with previous accounts experience, preferably with Sage 50 accounts. Have a strong communication skills and the ability to work with individuals across departments and liaise with external customers and contacts. You must have solid organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a varied workload and a good Excel knowledge.

This role is full time.

Salary: £19,000.00 to £20,000.00 per annum DOE
