Our client is a specialist digital marketing agency, a leader in its locality, with an excellent reputation for delivering result for clients. Based on the Chiltern train line, just 25mins from London’s Marylebone Station this agency is fortunate enough to be surrounded by pubs and restaurants. THE ROLE This position is 100% focused on new business and for the right person, could lead to contributing strategically and commercially to the agency overall. As New Business Executive, you will work closely with the Founder, focused on spotting and developing new business opportunities. As you become more integral to the process, you will drive the entire sales process; from research, to developing targeted lead lists, scheduling meetings and to pitch & proposal of prospective clients – all whilst working alongside the delivery team who will be carrying out client onboarding. This is an exciting role where you will become a key point of contact for a range of clients. You’ll need a nose for spotting business opportunities, not be afraid of the phone and be organised to ensure you’re not missing any opportunities. You’ll work with the Founder, developing target lists and manage the CRM system to ensure all leads and new business opportunities are kept up to date. A key part of this role will be the outbound communication, from cold calling, emailing, social messaging and face-to-face meetings with decision makers to discover their business requirements. What you need to bring to be considered… >>Previous experience in similar sales role or an ambitious graduate with sales experience >>Tenacity & Resilience to sales process (the exuberance of doing a deal and the flatness of hearing no and environment >>Possess a love for sales, “doing a deal” and thrive on the personal challenge of cold calling >>Understanding of B2B sales calls- handling objections and using a consultative approach >>Ingenuity and strong research skills to track down hard to reach people and secure meetings with them >>A healthy insight into the online industry is desirable but a specific knowledge / interest in SEO & PPC would be of great benefit >>Seriously strong organisational, time management & prioritisation skills >>Top notch communication skills, internally the agency has a great collaborative feel and we look for this to continue.
