A post has become available within KMPT for an enthusiastic, strong customer focused, self-motivated Administrative Assistant. The post will be within Reception at the Kent Forensic Psychiatry Service, Trevor Gibbens Unit in Maidstone, which specialises in the assessment and treatment of mentally disordered offenders. This is a full-time post and details of the shifts are as follows:
37.5 hours per week on a rota system, working Monday-Sunday, 6.45am -2.35pm (includes 20 min break) and 1.25pm -9.15 pm (includes 20 min break), including all bank holidays.
The ideal candidate will be educated to GCSE in Math’s and English or equivalent, and NVQ Level 2/RSA2 or equivalent, and will possess strong customer service skills, a professional and confident telephone manner, and good organisational and keyboard skills. They will also require a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and be able to remain calm and professional when faced with changing or challenging situations. There is also an opportunity for career progression within this role.
