I am working on behalf of a reputable home care service provider that requires an experienced branch manager to oversee their small branch in the Halifax area.The Company: They are one of the leading providers of private homecare services in the West Yorkshire area. A large franchise operation, with a great reputation, this particular branch has been running since 2012/13 now, however their latest CQC report states a ?require improvement' across the board, so they are looking to get back on track by recruiting strong care management professionals for the organisation. They have a new owner, who has a wealth of experience within the health & social care sector and is looking to turn things around for the business.They are care led, meaning all of their services are provided with sensitivity and are individualised to the needs of the people within the local community. They are a sustainable and financially stable company, currently delivering around 4800 hours / month.The role: This role is based in their Halifax branch and you will be managing around 9 office staff, 90 carers and overseeing the effective delivery of 1200 hours/week. There will be a requirement to help out with incentivised/paid on-call duties, and this will be 1 in 4 weeks.The Person: You will be a strong branch manager, registered or looking to become registered with CQC and ideally have a proven successful track record within domiciliary care of the elderly sector, as you will be required to hit the ground running. The branch requires improvement with CQC, so you will have a good understanding of CQC key lines of enquiry and have the ability to positively turn things around. You will have excellent business sense, with a good understanding of policies & procedures and the ability to take the company to the next level and a desire to work to high standards. You will be a resilient individual with excellent leadership qualities and be able to develop your team in a competitive area.
