Hampton's Specialist Children's Division are working with one of the UK's leading Children's Care and Education providers to help them recruit a Head Teacher for one of their Residential Special Schools in GuildfordThe school is a specialist residential and day school with a 6th Form College provision attached, for children and young people with high functioning autism and other forms of Learning Disabilities.Our client is looking for an exceptional, hardworking and highly motivated Headteacher to lead outcomes in the school and residential home. By providing professional leadership, management and direction for the service, you will promote a secure foundation from which to achieve continuous improvement and high standards in all areas of the service's work.Your role as Head Teacher will be to establish high quality education by effectively managing teaching and learning and using personalised learning to realise the potential of all children through a culture of excellence, equality and high expectations.You will need to work in partnership with the School's infrastructure to lead and manage both employees and resources to ensure high standards of learning are achieved within the service, exceeding regulatory standards.The ideal candidate will:currently be an innovative, inspirational, confident leader with previous experience in a senior leadership and management role (although not necessarily at Head Teacher level).be able to demonstrate experience of improving special educational needs provisionan enthusiastic and resilient leader who has the drive, ambition and high standards to build on our achievements and further develop all of our educational delivery to a position where it is recognised as 'best in class'.combine an extensive knowledge and experience of working with children and young people with special educational needs, with creative and innovative approaches to teaching and learning.be an effective people manager, you have the interpersonal skills and high professional standards to engage with and motivate employees, learners and parents and the focus and drive needed for whole service management.have a knowledge of working with young people with special needs.Education and Experience:Fully qualified, experienced teacher with relevant post-graduate qualificationAt least 2 years' experience of working within a relevant environment involving leadership and management responsibilities for education services and classroom facilities.Appropriate experience of working with young people with special needs.Salary - up to £74,000 dependant on experienceIf you are interested in this position or would like to have a confidential discussion to find out further details, please email your CV to ✉ or call James on ✆ 01926 356 546 Hampton's Resourcing prides itself on creating opportunities for Social Care Senior Managers to challenge themselves to continually develop their skills and experience.
