Position: Special Events Manager
Location: Central London
Job Type: Full Time, 12-month Fixed Term Contract
Salary: £Competitive

About the role:
Working within the prestigious Special Events team at the Charity, you will be managing the production and delivery of all events to the highest standard and meeting objectives as allocated by the Head of Events and Senior Events Managers, to include some of the following:

  • Event logistics.
  • Supplier management.
  • Venue management – all events including fundraising events, stewardship and engagement events as well as patient experience events
  • Budgetary responsibility
  • Line Management responsibility


About you:
The successful candidate will have a degree level education, or higher or relevant proven work experience and you will have a proven track record of managing and delivering high level events. You will also have evidence of working with external fundraising committees to deliver events and experience of budget management, including forecasting and planning.

Additionally, you will have excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach and mind-set and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Evidence of working with senior staff members and individuals is also essential. Line management experience would also be beneficial.

You may have experience of the following: Events Manager, Assistant Events Manager, Senior Event Coordinator, Community Events Manager, Networking, Marketing, Event Manager, Junior Events Manager, etc.
