This events agency is boutique in size but has an outstanding reputation within the events industry! With a solid foundation and a market reputation for delivering exceptional events this agency is going from strength to strength. They have proven capabilities across a wide range of events including product launches, conferences, dinners, driving experiences, hospitality programmes and exhibitions in the UK and overseas.

Working with a broad spectrum of clients from the technology, luxury, automotive and financial sectors predominantly, this agency is renowned for delivering high-quality events time and time again.

Based in Buckinghamshire, we are looking for candidates that live within a commutable distance to their offices, but will also consider candidates based in London.

THE ROLE

This agency are now looking for Business Development Manager to support the Business Development Director in the next phase of their success. Working autonomously whilst supported at a senior level the BDM will have an individual sales target and be responsible for driving revenue for the agency across untapped clients.

The role includes:

  • Generating leads and following them up to introduce the agency
  • Attending networking events to elevate profile of the business
  • Making introductory calls and arranging meetings with prospects
  • Working towards an annual new business target
  • Interrogating the clients brief
  • Preparing creative and compelling event proposals
  • Presenting at client pitches
  • Working with the design team to come up with innovative event ideas
  • Attending events to secure repeat business

THE CANDIDATE

To be considered for this Business Development Manager role you will be intelligent, energetic, confident and driven as well as having a proven track record in sales across the events sector. You will be hungry and ambitious, has a passion for business success as well as having the ability to build strong professional relationships. We will consider candidate from an events or production agency, AV supplier and/or an events venue.
