DA Prevention Practitioner - Domestic Abuse Education & Prevention Hanley, Staffordshire Permanent, Part Time 30 hours per week £19,750 pro rata Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced individual to join their Innovative Domestic Violence Prevention Service. Your key responsibility will be to co-facilitate individual sessions and group work with male perpetrators of domestic abuse in line with the RESPECT National Service Standards and the conditions of CAFCASS supervision The main aim of our client's work with perpetrators of Domestic Abuse is to keep victims and their families safe therefore a strong knowledge and understanding of the cause and effects of domestic abuse is essential and you will need to be familiar with legislation around domestic abuse. Our client works with a range of partners to provide a coordinated response to Domestic Abuse and therefore you will be expected to complete and submit detailed progress and monitoring reports to court, Social Care and other agencies as necessary. You must be able to demonstrate your experience of managing risk, safeguarding concerns, delivering tailored support packages and delivering group work effectively. A full UK driving licence and use of own vehicle for work purpose is required. Due to the nature of the role we can only accept male applicants. The post holder will be required to work flexible hours to meet service needs, including occasional evenings and weekends. A DBS check is required.
