Our client is looking to recruit a self-motivated and organised individual with experience of working in a finance environment. The role will be based within a busy and friendly Finance Department consisting of 16 people and will provide temporary cover (up to 8 months).

They currently own and manage around 6000 properties, support over 1600 vulnerable customers in care and supported housing projects, and employ nearly 500 people.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic organisation and contribute significantly towards delivering their purpose.

The successful candidate will have an excellent attention to detail, administration and spreadsheet skills, knowledge of basic accounting principles and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. They will also have the drive to take ownership of administration processes run by the Finance team.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience of working within a finance team
• Experience of working with accounting and spreadsheet software
• Excellent communication skills
• The willingness to take ownership of procedures
• The willingness to take on ad hoc administration tasks when required
• The ability to solve problems effectively
• The ability to work autonomously
