I am recruiting on behalf of a charity that supports voluntary action in Birmingham and Solihull. They are located just outside of Birmingham City Centre

They are recruiting for a Youth Engagement Worker to join their Talent Match team on a Fixed term contract to 31st December 2018.

Talent Match' is a £100m investment programme of the Big Lottery Fund designed to provide support to young people between the ages of 18 - 24 years of age who are 'Not in Employment, Education or Training' (NEET) and have been so in excess of 12 months.

The Purpose of the Youth Engagement Worker role is:

* To increase key stakeholder and beneficiaries engagement across Birmingham and Solihull in order to achieve the programmes annual engagement target.

* Deliver a programme of outreach activity to engage and retain new and existing key stakeholders and beneficiaries.

* To increase and support the involvement of key stakeholders and beneficiaries in the development and delivery of the programme.

Some of your Duties and responsibilities as Youth Engagement Worker will include:

To identify, implement and deliver a range of methods to increase and sustain beneficiary and key stakeholder referrals and enquires into the programme.

Establish sustainable collaborative partnerships with other providers, beneficiary and key stakeholders working within the youth employment landscape.

Work in partnership with deployed coaches to identify key challenges to beneficiary and key stakeholders and providers on a locality basis.

Work in partnership with deployed coaches, beneficiaries, key stakeholders and host providers to develop and implement engagement plans and appropriate strategies for engaging young adults and providers onto the programme using a targeted locality approach.

To be considered for this vacancy you must have experience of delivering 'into employment'. In addition:

-Proven experience of implementing a range of delivery that results in employment and sustainable employment outcomes.
-Experience of adapting activities, tools and techniques in order to appeal to a diverse range of audiences.

-Experience of developing and delivering engaging employer events and activities that raise the profile of an organisation/programme.

-Proven track record in building and maintaining successful partnerships across the private, statutory and voluntary sector.

Salary offered: £20,253 to £22,212 per annum
