Job Overview We are looking for a student to join us, to provide support to the Communications team. This role will provide exposure to a broad range of business communication practices building engagement with employees and local communities through our corporate and social responsibility (CSR) activity. Responsibilities To achieve success the Communication Student Placement will need to: Provide communications support and a high level of customer service to employees and managers across the Sanofi Group business in the UK and Ireland Provide support to the business, functions and business units in developing and executing their communication plans including writing and publishing news and events on internal and external communication channels including our intranet, poster sites, plasma and Scala screens plus our company app Manage the in-house company app – ensuring there’s a content calendar and colleagues are trained to use it compliantly Manage the company intranet ‘My sanofi’ ensuring content is current, relevant and in line with corporate and local policies. Provide training and regular support to the network of webmasters to ensure the functional and global business unit pages remain up to date Support the Internal Communications Lead advise internal stakeholders on how best to communicate their functional operational priorities, creating materials and ensuring timely communications plans are created Requirements & Qualifications Intermediate/advanced IT skills including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel Intermediate/advanced social media, Web 2.0 skills Design experience such as Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Dreamweaver. Experience of or interest in coding to design HTML templates would be useful too Good standard of English both written and spoken Demonstrated skills of planning, prioritising and general organisation of daily work load Administrative skills Ability to problem solve and escalate potential issues as appropriate Well-developed communication and listening skills Ability to manage data accurately with superior attention to detail Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-moving, fast-changing environment Able to deal professionally with confidential information Excellent time management skills Able to identify new ways of working and implement change Ability to show empathy whilst also being assertive Ability to work without close supervision Terms of Employment Start date of June – July 2018 Monday - Friday What makes this position unique?
