Due to expansion, our well-established and highly successful client - one of the top 15 firms in their field - is currently recruiting for an Audit Manager to join their dynamic and growing team based near Farnborough. The Audit Manager will assist Partners in the delivery of statutory audit and accounts preparation, as well as oversee and allocate work to audit trainees in the business. The role will comprise 80% audit and 20% accounts work.

Key responsibilities:

* Supporting Partners with the day-to-day running of a large client portfolio spanning a number of exciting industries
* Managing, mentoring and inspiring a highly committed and hard-working team at various stages of their career. Providing line management, planning and reviewing work as necessary
* Undertaking and delivering any necessary training
* Ensuring audit and non-audit accounts work meets all regulations and deadlines
* Keeping all relevant internal and external parties updated as required
* Maintaining the firm's processes and standards, being able to answer technical questions proficiently and confidently
* Assisting in networking events and new business tenders
* Identifying service opportunities with both existing and new clients
* Arranging and overseeing attendance for monthly Audit and Accounts Committee meetings
* Professional representation of the firm at all times

Key requirements:

* ACA/ACCA qualified, with a minimum of 3 years' experience leading audits and managing audit teams
* Broad experience across OMBs and various sectors
* Experience developing and mentoring direct reports
* Excellent communication, problem-solving and multi-tasking skills
* Proactive, ambitious and energetic individual
* Knowledge of IFRS and FRS102 is advantageous

This is a permanent position that could suit both full-time and part-time candidates.
