Job Title: Audit & Accounts Senior

Job Type: Permanent, full-time

Salary: Up to £35,000 - plus a number of desirable benefits

Location: Maidstone, Kent

* Are you ACCA/ ACA qualified or even QBE?
* Do you have practice experience gained over the past 3 / 4 years?
* Do you have some audit experience?

Due to our Clients continued growth, they are seeking a dynamic person who will be pivotal in contributing to their offices success so far!

Your main responsibilities are, but, not limited to:-

* Annual accounts and corporation tax preparation (to completion)
* Audit experience or at least knowledge
* VAT returns
* Company Secretarial (Annual Statements, changes, documentation)
* Experience using Sage and IRIS software
* Preparing VAT & Payroll
* Experience of salary/dividend planning
* Some knowledge of Income Tax Returns
* Assisting Clients on management accounts/bookkeeping/reviews
* Experience of non-company accounts
* Charity accounts experience - not essential but bonus
* HMR&C/ROC filing experience

Key Skills:-

* Must have 3/4+ years of experience of relevant accounting experience ideally gained from working within an accountancy practice.
* ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
* Managing workload and client expectation
* Strong communication and presentation skills necessary.
* Attend and contribute to team meetings, and assist in problem solving and advising on financial solutions and procedures
* Must be hardworking, results orientated, proactive and team orientated
* Team management experience. Good Strong Computer Skills, including Excel, Word, Outlook and Sage (or another Accounting Package)
* Ability to deal with difficult situations and able to remain calm and professional
* Ability to work to deadlines and able to work under pressure
