Applications are invited for the position of Consultant in Addiction Psychiatry within the Substance Misuse Services (SMS) division of Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust. This is a 0.6 PA's WTE substantive Consultant position. The post holder will across a number of sites, the principal base being at Islington Drug and Alcohol Service (IDASS), 592 Holloway Road, London, N7 6LB. The Trust is a leading mental health service provider working in collaboration with the UCL Partners Academic Health Science Partnership. The SMS division includes services across Camden, Islington and Kingston-upon-Thames. There are three other Consultant Addiction Psychiatrists across the division as well as sessional GPs and nurse prescribers working in well-equipped multi-professional teams.This post will offer excellent opportunities for professional development including in medical education and in research. The appointee will be a first-rate communicator, will provide leadership to the clinical team and will work collaboratively with managerial staff.Closing Date: 1st March 2018Interview Date: 13th March 2018
