A Lloyd's underwriting business is currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to fill a newly created position within their Group & Expenses reporting team.

The successful candidate will have responsibility for the expense accounting process which will include processing invoices, expenses and payment runs, managing the fixed assets register, bank reconciliations, cash monitoring and general ledger postings, capital expenditure reporting and supporting the Group and Expenses Accountant and the Group and Tax Manager.

This is an excellent opportunity for a flexible team player with strong attention to detail and who is working towards, or wants to work towards, an accounting qualification to join a forward thinking and growing organisation. A strong educational background and basic accounting experience (reconciliations, processing invoices, managing ledgers etc.) is required combined with strong excel skills.
