Sewell Wallis are currently recruiting for a Graduate Commercial Analyst to join a growing and developing business based within the East Leeds area. This is a newly created, permanent role that has emerged due to recent acquisitions and substantial growth. This would be an ideal opportunity for a graduate, looking to secure their first accounting and finance role. The successful candidate will join a business that reward and develop their employees and offer a tailored development and training plan. The role reports into the Commercial Manager and will be an integral role in supporting the business in its next phase of growth. This is an excellent opportunity to join an award winning business that encourage growth and development from within and have an established yet developing finance function. This role is very commercial in nature and will allow exposure to key stakeholders and senior management within the business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:-
- Preparation of monthly KPI reporting.
- Providing data and analysis required to highlight historical and emerging trends.
- Maintaining and developing the current reporting and forecasting models and implementing any changes and developments.
- Financial and volume scenario planning to support strategic decision making.
- Helping to develop new reporting measures and systems to promote business activity and drive profit improvement.
- Working with the Commercial Manager and maintaining the weekly and monthly sales reporting and analysis.
- Liaising with key stakeholders, attending meetings and advising on business performance and growth.
- Working on various ad-hoc projects alongside the Commercial Manager.

You will:-

- Ideally be educated to degree level, within an accountancy and finance related subject.
- Have strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Have excellent attention to detail.
- Be able to converse at all levels with the ability to present findings back to key stakeholders.
- Ideally have intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
- Have good organisational and planning skills with the ability to work proactively and unsupervised when required.
- Be able to look for new ways to improve current processes and streamline existing procedures.
