To develop a clear perspective of end user trends in the UK retail market then align our branding, communications and merchandising to deliver a relevant and concise message in the most creative and commanding way to our UK Retail Customers.

Main tasks and projects:
:Continually gather market intelligence on which to build a convincing and all-encompassing marketing strategy that interconnects with the sales objectives and strategy.
:Optimise performance and impact whilst operating within budgetary and financial parameters.
:Build an unassailable position within the market to include, Product, In-store Presence, Store Support, Promotions and Communication.
:Offer support to the Brand Manager Internationally to ensure positioning is maintained
:Contribute widely and openly to general strategic planning and objective setting
:Collaboration with sales team in key customer engagement projects and presentations to deliver maximum innovative and effective effect
:Achievement of company sales targets and contribution margin
:Retail market share growth
:Brand equity/recognition in the retail sector

:Degree level in business discipline preferred
:CIM Qualification

Work Experience:
:Proven relevant business experience in a relevant industry
:Proven experience within a senior marketing role
:Experience within consumer buying psychology
:Relevant category insight
:People management experience (Team management)

:Good level of business understanding and commercial insight and proven commercial track record
:Strong analytical abilities combined with in-depth understanding of categories and brand thinking
:High level of understanding of consumer needs and behaviour and its link to market dynamics
:Project management experience with proven record deliver project results and to get team member to cooperate
:Good communication skills with proven ability to influence others
:IT skills: Microsoft Office

:Business oriented, results-driven, strong drive and implementation power
:Strategic orientation and passion for consumers, brands and business
:Proactive and self-driven
:Creative and innovative
:Highly analytical and structured

Other Requirements:
:Travel as required to meet customers, marketing agencies and to attend group-wide meetings
