Job Purpose
The Marketing Copywriter is responsible for the development of content related to the marketing campaigns, for use in all communications in a variety of media. Must have a proven track record of generating creative, content for driving traffic, engagement and leads that delivery awareness, sales and customer retention. While also building organic brand awareness.
This role creates the content that interacts with our community on a daily basis helping them to understand how our accountancy software and services can drive their business. It achieves this by developing compelling topics and bringing to life content that engages, influences and educates our target audiences.
This role will report directly to the Content Marketing Manager and will work closely with the marketing teams.

Main Responsibilities

· Research, write, review, edit, and update marketing materials (i.e. web copy, blogs/news items, reports/papers, opinion and thought leadership articles, case studies, eBooks/guides)
· Lead the use of social media to promote the uptake of marketing materials (blogs, datasheets, videos)
· Build strong working relationships with the Campaign Managers to assist them with demand generation requirements
· Work with marketing and product teams to identify gaps in available resources and develop appropriate content to fill those gaps.
· Help to develop documents, videos, graphics and other materials for the conversation.

Required Skills:

· Content production, editing and publishing experience
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
· Able to juggle many projects at one time and meet all deadlines
· Excellent writing skills
· Social Media Communications experience
· Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
· Enthusiasm for the use of technology in the delivery of content, discussion about substantive related issues.
· Work well on a team and be willing to pitch in however needed to accomplish the goals of the organisation.
