Land Surveyor

Geo-Info are looking for a Land Surveyors / Railway Surveyors, from junior to senior levels. We have secured a number of exciting projects and are now looking for talented individuals to help us with expanding workload within the civil, rail and construction industries. Flexibility will be required with travel and working arrangements.

Junior Surveyors

Responsibilities:

- Assist the Lead/Senior/Surveyors with providing completed survey measurements and/or reports to the required quality and within the planned timescales
- Gain experience to Survey to the required standard and gain knowledge the standards you are working to if required and competent
- Report all issues to the lead surveyor

Experience/Skills:

- Knowledge of Leica / Trimble instruments (desirable)
- Familiar with MS Office, LSS / AutoCAD (desirable)
- Willingness to Learn
- Oral and Written Communication skills

Land Surveyors

Role requirements:

- Minimum 3 years' experience using various GPS, Total Stations and Levelling equipment
- Capable of data processing, interpretation and presentation of survey results
- Proficient in the use of AutoCAD / LSS
- CSCS/PTS (Desirable)
- Ability to prepare method statements and risk assessments and other work related documentation

Senior / Lead Surveyors

- Experience working on Rail / Electrification projects
- Effective communication, negotiating and presentation skills
- Experience in Managing and Leading teams
- Proficient in the use of Leica and/or Trimble instruments (GNSS/GPS & Total Station)
- Proficient in (but not limited to) general surveying practices (Traversing, Levelling, , Laser Scanner (preferred, not essential)
- Proficient in (but not limited to) Railway surveying practices (Height & Stagger Gauging, Cant and Gauge measurements, Platform Gauging, Track/Slope Monitoring, OLE Asbuilt measurements)

Location: Jobs available in U.K, Scotland and Ireland

Salary: Negotiable depending on level of experience and qualifications.

Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK and possess a full clean driving license.
