Customer Support Manager (Savings Team)
Head Office, Newbury

We are looking for a Customer Support Manager to supervise and lead a small team to provide excellent customer service and meet customers’ needs by resolving queries and administering savings accounts effectively and efficiently.

The key responsibilities of the role are:

Provide clear leadership and direction to the team
Manage weekly training, as well as coaching and mentoring as required
Follow procedures and agreed SLAs to ensure a consistently high standard of service to external and internal customers
Make recommendations for change in policy or procedure to enhance the customer service experience
Follow compliance, in line with regulatory requirements, Codes of Practice and Society procedures

Essential criteria for the role are:

GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths & English grade C or above
Supervisory experience, able to offer support to a team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
A general understanding of the financial services industy
Highly organised and able to deal with a variety of tasks and deadlines
Excellent customer service skills
Confident, positive and cheerful attitude

Desirable criteria for the role are:

Previous experience in a similar role

Hours: This is a full-time role, working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Salary: Starting salary is £24,665 rising to £27,405 once fully competent, plus benefits
