Senior Registered NurseFull Time & Part TimeWiltshireSalary up to £32,000Our client is actively looking for a Senior Staff Nurse with the ability to inspire others and deliver the highest standards of patient care. If you are passionate about nursing and ready to grow your career in a leadership role, now is the time to apply to us.Reporting to the Senior Ward Sister you will be part of a multidisciplinary team.You will lead by example and mentor junior staff. You will be required to take charge of the ward and make clinical decisions, always putting the patient first and ensuring our standards are maintained.You will work rotational shifts between days and nights.We provide care to patients undergoing a range of complex surgery. In addition we also care for those requiring intervention during their oncology treatment or palliative care and those with complex conditions.The facilities in this private hospital would admit patients for a wide range of medical and surgical procedures. To provide our patients with the best possible care, we have a range of facilities to cater for their needs including:You will:Have at least 12 months; experience as a senior or acting as a senior staff nurse in a surgical ward environment.Be able to manage a work load of 3-4 patients while coordinating junior nurses allocations on a shift to shift basis.Be able to balance patient care with effective clinical decision making in the best interests of the patient.Be able to take on projects within the department and see them through to conclusion.Be able to work on a flexible rotaThe role is Full 37.5 hours per week: Mon & Sun: 2 Long days and 2 short days ideally.Applicants should meet the following criteria:RGN with full registrationENB 730 or similar qualificationBe flexible and able to manage changeGood communicatorEvidence of professional developmentUK healthcare experience within the surgical field.Duties of this role include: To promote and maintain caring and highly professional standards of nursing; meeting the needs of the patients in all aspects and promoting job satisfaction within the nursing team.The post-holder is responsible for planning and delivery of patient care to the agreed standards.The post-holder deputises on behalf of the Ward Manager and nursing department during spans of duty.The role is offering a competitive salary and benefits package which includes:25 Days paid Annual leave Bank holidaysDefined Contribution Pension scheme up to 4.5% matched by employerPrivate Medical insuranceLife AssuranceChildcare VouchersBi-annual health ScreeningFamily and Friends Discount on services24 -7 Counselling program.For more information and or to apply please call Jenna O'Rourke on 01489 774208 and or email jenna.orourke@appointgroup.co.uk
