The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and inspirational Counter Manager to lead our thriving account in Harvey Nichols, Manchester. You will be responsible for the overall growth of the account and growing brand awareness via both internal and external activity. The successful candidate will demonstrate fantastic customer service skills, have previous experience in leading a team and managing a growing business. Leading by example is the key to success in this role, you will thrive in a target driven environment and relish the chance to support and guide others to achieve their set goals and KPI’S.

Responsibilities • You will have overall responsibility for the counters success by ensuring both the team and the account meet their sales targets • Manage a small team of dedicated Counter Specialists• Coach and develop the team to continue to grow • Hold team meetings & training sessions • Conduct in-depth skin consultations using the latest skin imaging technology• Perform mini electrical taster facials• Recommend bespoke skincare packages for clients, post consultation
Candidate requirements• Beauty Therapy qualification – NVQ Level 3 or equivalent including electrical facials
• Previous retail experience ideally in a high end environment • A passion for beauty and results driven skincare • positive can do attitude; we believe in having a positive and optimistic attitude about everything we do because it inspires others to have the same• Proactive approach to sales • Able to stock take and organise rotas• Love the challenge of meeting and exceeding targets • Good level of computer literacy in Microsoft Word and Excel• Confident, approachable and self-motivated• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
