At UCLH (University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust) our success starts with you.
We want you to come to UCLH, and stay at UCLH; all of our staff have been involved in developing our values.
We believe that UCLH is a better place for patients and staff alike. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the largest and most successful Foundation Trusts in the UK with an international reputation and a tradition of innovation.
UCLH has two major strategic projects underway. On Grafton Way, we are building a facility which will be home to one of only two high energy NHS proton beam therapy centres, Europe’s largest centre for the treatment of blood disorders and a hyper modern surgery service. Close by on Huntley Street we are developing the new Royal National ENT and Eastman Dental Hospitals. Replacing the current hospitals on Grays’ Inn Road, this development will mean we can provide multidisciplinary care to our dental and ENT patients in a modern environment. Our Grafton Way facility is due to open in 2020, with Huntley Street opening in 2019.
NHS staff survey results from 2016, UCLH has been named one of the ten best performing non-specialist trusts against the following statement: “If a friend of relative needed treatment I would be happy with the standard of care provided by this organisation”.

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated experienced nurse with excellent communication, team and leadership skills to join the Endocrinology Team. You will work closely with the Consultants, Specialist Registrars, Nurse Consultant and other multidisciplinary team members. You will play an important role in the delivery of effective care and management of outpatients and inpatients with endocrine disorders (eg: thyroid, pituitary, adrenal). You must be able to work autonomously as well as in our multidisciplinary team, organise your workload effectively and adapt to, as well as drive change at a local level. You should be a Registered Nurse ideally with post registration experience in endocrinology nursing and have or be willing to work towards a master’s degree for Band 7 in a related subject. Experience of running nurse led clinics an advantage. You must be able to take part in structured education for patients, colleagues and students.
We are ideally looking for a Band 7 who meets the full person specification to fulfill this role but we would also welcome applicants who do not meet full person specification with a view to appointing at Band 6 level with a developmental plan.

We offer our permanent staff an interest free season ticket loan for travel, a subsidised social club including gym, free independent and confidential support for all staff, large retail discounts, cycle to work scheme and on-site accommodation to name a few… for more information on our staff benefits please see attached poster.
We recognise, reward and thank colleagues by nominating them for our annual Celebrating Excellence Awards, which are funded by UCLH Charity.
We are also members of which offers discounts on high street retail stores, offers on travel deals, and also to take advantage of cash back schemes.
