A great opportunity has become available for an experienced and caring individual with a passion for providing excellent care to elderly residents as a nursing home manager!This role is based at a 60 bedded Nursing home with an immediate care centre on site which provides rehabilitation and enablement for up to 15 people that are discharged from hospital but who are not quite ready to return home. They are supported by a multidisciplinary team from the local NHS Trust.You will be joining a vibrant team of nurses, care leaders, housekeepers, caterers, maintenance and administrator. All of these are dedicated to enhancing the lives of our residents and supporting them to achieve as much as they can for themselves.I am looking for an experienced home manager who has previous knowledge and practice in:
•Running a successful nursing home
•Business acumen including managing budgets.
•Marketing and increasing occupancy.
•Recruitment of all home staff.
•Managing and leading an established team
•Ensuring the home is registered for and meets all necessary regulations including CQC standards.
•Strong knowledge in dementia care is also essential.
•Be highly driven team motivator, with excellent communication and organisational skills.
•Ideally be a Registered Nurse- RGN / RMN with a valid NMC PIN.As you will be a key member of team, they will ensure you have all the training, support and tools required to be successful in your role. You can also expect benefits such as:
