An exciting opportunity has arisen and with this well know Leeds based Financial Services Business. They are currently looking for a Financial Reporting Regulatory Accountant on a 12 months FTC. You will be joining a team of finance professionals responsible for sourcing, consolidating and reviewing financial information and associated analysis and insight; and providing support for their project portfolio. You will be liaising with different areas of the business and at all levels. This role will play a part in supporting the delivery of the Group’s long term Financial Control strategy.

Reporting to the Financial Reporting Manager your main responsibilities will include preparation and analysis of FCA / Bank of England / and PRA regulatory returns to include Pillar 3, FinRep and CoRep reporting requirements, monitoring regulatory policy, proposals and consultation papers and initiating the groups response to them. The role will also be responsible for the documentation and update of regulatory reporting procedures and process maps.

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Intellectually strong and capable of digesting and interpreting complex regulatory and financial information.
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
• Broad range of current Finance MI systems, models and processes
• Full project life cycle and Business Change activities
• Experience of working in a in a multi-disciplined, deadline-driven, Finance function.
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
• Strong Excel skills with the ability to undertake analysis of large amounts of data.
• Ability to identify and address key risks/implications associated with any activities or changes.
• Financial Services experience would be preferable but is not essential
