Crest Nicholson are now recruiting for an Applications Project Manager to join our IT department, based at our head office in Chertsey. We are able to offer a competitive salary along with a company car plus extensive benefits on a permanent basis.

Key duties:

Create and maintain a well-structured, professional project environment for your project teams where each member fully understands their role and responsibilities within project and is encouraged to deliver great results
Responsible for the tracking and reporting of project timelines, budgets, scope, risk, issues and quality during the life of the project from inception to delivery, managing issues and risks as they occur. Escalating to relevant managers any issues as appropriate
Responsible for project coordination and task allocation, ensuring that the team members have clear and achievable objectives
Work with Enterprise Architect to establish and assess the impact of possible solutions on related systems and processes
Responsible for developing high quality project plans and for the coordination and definition of work estimates that support project, resource and capacity planning Effectively engage and manage consultants and suppliers to introduce new or upgrade and enhance existing solutions
Investigate business challenges and co-ordinate the selection, design and implementation of the most appropriate solution
Identify opportunities for enhanced solutions based on existing portfolio of solutions
Capture and translate business requirements effectively, acting as liaison conduit to more technical partners
Attend appropriate seminars and events to ensure that Crest are well placed to use modern solutions in an effective manner

Key skills, experience and attributes we're looking for:

PRINCE2 and Agile qualified
Delivering multiple projects in parallel, using best practice project management methodologies such as PRINCE II or Agile
Exposure to Housebuilding, Construction or related sector
Delivering process improvements; especially experience that leverages technology as part of the solution
Defining requirements documents, RFI’s, RFP’s, solution design documents, roadmaps
Well-developed interpersonal, relationship and communication skills in both formal and informal settings
A customer focused individual who is confident of providing decisions and solutions.
A proven ability to work in a collaborative style, building and developing effective customer and service provider relationships
Must have a mix of hard and soft IT skills
Must be able to work as an individual or as part of a team
Must be capable of owning and solving problems
Must be able to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
Must demonstrate good technical and non-technical communication skills (verbal and written)
Strong attention to detail
Demonstrates initiative, pro-active style and drive
Goal delivery focused
Committed to service improvement and customer satisfaction
Broad understanding of enterprise-level IT systems and solutions
