Excellent opportunity for a person who is AAT qualified to join a team of Management Accountants as an Assistant Management Accountant. The key function of this role will be to support the Partners and Managers by handling the accounting requirements of a variety of the Practice’s clients including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.

As the Assistant Management Accountant you will:
• Prepare financial data up to trial balance nominal ledger and cash book management
• Complete bank reconciliations, fixed assets, pre payments, accruals and VAT returns
• Assist with the preparation of management accounts

The ideal Assistant Management Accountant will have:
• Strong Sage Line 50 or Xero software experience
• Good knowledge of Excel
• Must be competent in all accounting principles with ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure with limited supervision

The successful applicant must be customer focused with good communication skills and be able to liaise effectively with a range of clients. Practice background desirable but not essential
