About the Company:
Leading mutual marine insurer providing its worldwide membership of shipowners, charterers and operators with liability insurance and related services

About the Role:
Provide business administration support to the COO with Risk & Internal Control, Business Continuity Planning, Insurance and Contract Management. In addition, providing ad hoc project work and research as required.

Key Duties:

Risk & Internal Control
·Implementing an overall risk management framework for the organisation, including, describing and porting risks affecting the business and comparing against established risk tolerances.
·Preparing summary and detailed reporting on risk in an appropriate way for different audiences
·Assisting Heads of Department and Manager's in identifying, developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure ensuring that risk and internal control is adequately embedded and compliance with best practice and regulatory requirements;
·Providing management with periodic reports on compliance with policies and procedures

Business Continuity Planning
·Manage the ability of the Company to respond to a "disaster", resulting from the inaccessibility of its offices.
·Identifying the physical risks to the business and establishing suitable responses.
·Assist in the continuity planning from inception through to delivery and to work with all areas within the plan to ensure recovery in the event of an incident.
·Communicating any Disaster Recovery Plan to staff and leading the team identified for the purpose.

·Reviewing insurance policies to ensure that they are adequate and assisting in the placement of those insurances.
·Being aware of the terms of relevant insurance policies and to ensure that the Company's ability to make a claim is not prejudiced.

Contract Management
·Oversee the preparation, negotiation, and review of contracts related to facilities

Key Experience:
·Degree educated
·Risk experience
·Administration within a busy environment
·Ability and experience working autonomous role and therefore able to use your initiative
·Organised and Proactive attitude
