Director - Business and Audience Analytics

Location: London

The Role:

You will be working within a media agency that offers variety of services going far beyond the traditional media planning and buying business model, providing expert consultative services across media strategy, planning, investment, business management, digital, insight & analytics.

The Business and Audience Analytics Director is a new role; therefore you will have the opportunity to shape it’s direction. Your responsibilities will include driving the data communication and audience insight strategy for the region, with particular focus on the UK market. You will work with various clients to determine the use cases for the data management platform, formulate testing plans and support in delivering through to campaign execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain media analytics for brands across display, search, mobile & social channels.
  • Coordinate with client service and activation and optimisation teams to deliver key insights and insure optimisation efforts are executed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Develop comprehensive performance analysis benchmarks, case studies and presentations with regards to marketplace supply/demand
  • Effectively work with clients to diagnose solutions to key organisational challenges and develop value-based roadmaps that support the application of Data and Technology solutions to solve client business issues on a continuous and repeatable basis
  • Work with client and internal teams to translate data and model results into tactical and strategic insights that are complete, accurate, relevant, understandable and applicable to client businesses and needs.
  • Work with team and operations to maximize project delivery quality, timeliness and efficiencies in order to deliver high-value and relevant insights to our clients as quickly and effectively as possible
About You:
  • 5+ years of related experience
  • Experience in online media metrics and analysis; specific work with various reporting tools, including web analytics
  • Comprehensive understanding of data management platforms, their applications and use cases across industries
  • Knowledge of ad networks, exchanges and/or auction marketplaces
  • Exposure to DSP/Ad server protocols and reporting (DCM, Flashtalking, Atlas, Turn)
  • Exposure to social analytical tools
  • Familiarity with general tools and packages (Tableau, SPSS)
  • Ability to apply statistical analysis methods and techniques with the assistance of appropriate software tools
  • Proficiency in Excel (advanced features in Excel considered: Macros, complex formulas
  • Exemplary business judgment as well as problem solving and analytical skills, with a proven record of leadership and innovation
  • Exposure to multi-media disciplines, understanding of cross channels media
