Folkestone Nursing Home is looking for a Team Leader, passionate to care and experience in dealing with dementia and mental health clients

Job Title: Team Leader
Job Type: Full Time / Permanent
Salary: £25000 to £30000 per annum
Hours: Upto 48 hours per week
Location: East Ham

Responsibilities:

The Post Holder is responsible for providing leadership and supervision to personalised and tailored service for each client.
The post holder may function as both health care providers and facility supervisors.
Team Lead provides for the residents by matching residents needs with appropriate services.
Team Leader is responsible for maintaining and updating resident’s records.
Team Leader who act as facility supervisors and specialists in the area, may be in charge of business operations and oversee the resident care at nursing homes and give leadership for a unit.
The post holder is responsible for providing the team leadership and supervision overseeing the nursing homes training programme and making sure it is effective for training the new and existing staffs. Provides expert support/coordination in the delivery of critical care.
The post holder should have an ability to lead a team and supervise, manage and lead the team in the core activities. To oversee the day to day management of the services.
To include appropriate liaison with residents, relatives, deputy/manager and relevant staffs and prioritise and manage clinical works/ Assisted Daily Living ( ADL) participate and supervise in the delivery of care to the residents to ensure that, their physical, social, intellectual and emotional needs are met and ensuring dignity, choice, independence and respect.
Advises on rehabilitation.
Conducts education relevant to specialism and in line with the CQC requirements and provides team leadership and supervision.
The post holder will have to maintain, incorporate and improve the training plan for the care home ensuring the performance of the staff is of a high standard.
Carrying out performance reviews of the care staffs.
